REBECCA RESSLER
I completed my formal massage therapy education in 2008 at Fortis College in Virginia Beach, where I earned certification and licensure in Clinical Massage Therapy, along with National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBMB) credentials. I am a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and hold active licensure in both Michigan and Indiana.
Prior to opening my private practice last year, I served as the Massage Department Supervisor within a chiropractic clinic, while simultaneously maintaining a full-time client schedule. During my thirteen-year tenure at the clinic, I developed and led an exclusive apprenticeship program, training Massage Assistants in anatomy, medical terminology, biomechanics, and evidence-based techniques focused on relieving muscular tension, reducing stress, and improving overall patient health.
I am trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including—but not limited to—myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, deep tissue therapy with assisted stretching, trigger point therapy, acupressure, prenatal massage, and sports massage.
I hope this information is helpful in addressing your patients’ questions and concerns, and I sincerely appreciate your continued referrals.
